Chuck oversees and coordinates the firm's audit practice. Mr. Yaple has primary responsibility for the firm's major governmental audits, which include audit, review and preparation of General Purpose Financial Statements, Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports receiving the GFOA/ASBO reporting excellence awards, and/or special financial compliance reports (including Single Audit Act). He has managed and performed a variety of special engagements for the firm's clients, including management advisory services, system design and acquisition consulting and other financial related services.
Mr. Yaple's experience includes governmental, corporate and non-profit auditing and accounting. He has been awarded the Certificate of Educational Achievement in Governmental Accounting and Auditing by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and is on the GFOA Special Review Committee involved with reviewing Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports nationally. Mr. Yaple has written articles for government industry publications. He has served as Chairman of the Governmental Services Committee for CPA Associates International, Inc., an international association of CPA firms. Mr. Yaple has provided workshop sessions and other information sessions for the Texas Association of Counties, the local GFOA affiliate, Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) and other governmental and industry associations and public accounting firms.
